What Is Beat it Out Workout®?
Beat it Out Workout® is a rhythm inspired workout that utilizes a combination of drumming, aerobic movements, and toning exercises to improve cardiovascular health, muscle flexibility, muscle endurance, abdominal strength and balance.
Beat it Out Workout® is a fun multilevel program that allows participants to experience all the benefits of traditional fitness classes, with the added fun of drumming and rhythm.
The Beat it Out Workout® program allows instructors from a variety of backgrounds to step beyond basic exercise classes and into abdominal and balance training from a whole new angle.
Development Of Beat it Out Workout®
The birth of Beat it Out Workout® came in December of 2012 when Debbie Mizrahi recalled, “My son’s old drumsticks were laying around the house and growing in numbers. I thought about tossing them out. But, all of a sudden, a thought came into my mind:
“What if I use them for a fitness program? I can use the drumsticks and equipment from the gym for both a mental and a physical workout which could strengthen joints, improve balance, stress relief and improve coordination and rhythm.”
Debbie started incorporating the drum sticks into her Boot Camp class at LVAC and the members fell in love and kept asking for more. Soon an opportunity to teach another format became available at LVAC, and she suggested teaching Beat It Out Workout® at that time slot and her director agreed. It’s been a HUGE hit and has been growing from there.
